We are Sparsh Beauty Home, located at K-121 in the Hanuman Nagar area of Patna. If you know where the New Hari Bhai Sariwala is, then you’ve probably walked right past us. This is a small place we set up inside the residential block. It’s mostly just me and a couple of others helping out. We do basic things like threading, waxing, and hair oils. It’s not a big salon with a receptionist. Usually, the door is open and you just walk in. The neighborhood is mostly families, so we see a lot of the same faces every month. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the kids are playing outside in the lane. We keep the space clean, though it’s a bit tight when more than two people are waiting. I’ve lived in Patna my whole life and started this because I wanted something close to home. It saves people a trip to the main market. We use the brands you find in any local store. Nothing too expensive or complicated. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, other days like during wedding season, we are busy until late evening. It’s just a normal home-based setup where women from around here come to get their eyebrows done or get a quick hair wash without any fuss. It’s been about five years now since we first opened the doors to our neighbors.
