You can find us in the Karbighiya area of Patna, right across from the PSS. We are based at Sharwan Kumar’s place, near the Shakuntla Committee Hall. If you know the back side of the Patna railway station, you know how busy this neighborhood can get. There is always something happening outside, with rickshaws and people everywhere. We focus on infratech work, which keeps us pretty occupied with various building and technical projects around the city. Our office is a simple room where we keep our tools, some safety gear, and the ledger books. It’s the kind of place where the door is usually open and neighbors might pop their head in to say hello. We don’t have any polished corporate stuff going on here; it is just us working through the daily tasks. Sometimes the dust from the street gets in, and we have to wipe down the desks every morning before we start. We spend a lot of time talking to vendors and making sure we have enough cement or steel for whatever we are working on that week. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the workers show up on time. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for a bit now and we just take things one day at a time, making sure each job gets finished the way it was supposed to be.
