Amrapali Vatika

Amrapali Vatika is tucked away at Pant Bhawan on Bailey Road in Patna. Most people know the area because Hartali More is right nearby, and it’s one of the busiest spots in the city. We have a bit of open space here, which is hard to find in the middle of Patna. We mostly host local functions, weddings, and gatherings where people need a lawn or a bit of room to move around. It’s not a high-end luxury venue, but it’s practical for families who live in the city. During the wedding season, the place is a bit of a madhouse with decorators moving poles and caterers setting up stoves. On quieter days, it’s just us doing maintenance or watering the plants to keep the place looking decent. The traffic on Bailey Road is constant, so you can always hear the horns and engines from the street. We’ve had to deal with our fair share of power cuts and sudden rain ruins, but that’s just how it goes here. The staff is mostly made up of guys who have worked in this neighborhood for years. We don’t put on airs or try to act like we’re something we aren't. It’s just a venue for people to get together and celebrate whatever is going on in their lives. We keep things simple and try to be helpful when someone is planning an event, even if things get a bit chaotic sometimes.
