Our place is called Janki Kunj, and we are located on Road No. 02 in the Shankar Housing Colony. This is in Ashiyana Nagar, Patna. SHORYARUN ENGICON PRIVATE LIMITED is the name we use for all our official business. It’s a residential colony, so it’s mostly houses around us. We like the quiet. It’s a lot better than being right on the main highway. The office isn't very big, just a few rooms where we keep our equipment and files. We’ve been here for several years now. Most of our neighbors know who we are. We don't have any big neon signs out front. If you know the address, you’ll find the gate. Inside, it’s mostly just desks and piles of paper. We do engineering and consultancy work, so there’s always something to calculate or a drawing to look at. We have a small group of people here. We all do a bit of everything. One day I might be answering the phone and the next I’m out looking at a site. It’s not a very formal place. We drink a lot of chai and talk about how the city is changing. Patna is growing fast, and we see it every day in our line of work. We just try to stay busy and do things the right way.
