Somya Infotech is on the 2nd Floor of Ganga Market in Shivpuri. You have to walk up two flights of stairs to get to us. The market downstairs is always noisy with people buying clothes and groceries. Our office is a bit quieter, filled with the hum of computer towers and monitors. We have cables running everywhere, and there is usually a pile of keyboards in the corner that need fixing. Shivpuri is a crowded place, so Ganga Market is always buzzing. We spend our days troubleshooting software or trying to bring old laptops back to life. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and staring at screens. Sometimes a customer brings in a computer that is so dusty it takes an hour just to clean it out. We have a small window that looks out over the market rooftops. It’s not a corporate tech park; it’s just a small shop where we drink way too much coffee and talk about hardware. When the monsoon hits, the roof leaks a little in the hallway, so we have to move the equipment away from the door. We’ve been here in Ganga Market for years now. Most people know to come up the stairs if their screen goes blank or their internet stops working. We stay busy because there’s always a computer breaking down somewhere nearby. It’s just how things go with technology in a busy market area.
