You can find us right near the Indian Bank on the Ranchi Patna Road. It’s a good landmark because everyone knows where the bank is. Being on this road means we see a lot of travelers and trucks passing through. Shivam Info Technology is a place where we handle a mix of things. Some days it is software, other days it is helping someone get their data sorted out. It gets dusty because of the road, so we are always wiping down the monitors. We have a few desks pushed together and some old filing cabinets that have been here since the start. It is not a silent office; there is always someone talking or a machine humming. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements. Most people just see our sign when they are stuck in traffic or going to the bank. We’ve been at this for a while and we know the common problems that pop up with technology in this area. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out. Those are the times we talk about things other than work. It feels like a small family here even though we are just coworkers. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a ten-year plan. We just want to do the work right so people come back next time they have a tech problem. It’s a simple way to run a business.
