Gopal Computer

Gopal Computer is located on the third floor over in Sabzibagh on Ashok Rajpath. It is a long walk up those stairs, especially during the summer months when the air feels heavy, but we have been here for a good while. The shop is filled with parts, old monitors, and cables tangled in boxes. We spend most of our time sitting at the benches looking at screens or taking things apart. Sabzibagh is a crowded place so there is always something happening on the street below that we can hear through the windows. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which gives us a chance to sit and talk. We aren't trying to be anything fancy; it is just a workplace where we fix what is broken. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, and the floor has some scuffs from moving heavy equipment around, but that doesn't stop us from doing the work. People from the nearby colleges often drop by because we are right there on the main road. We keep a cooler in the corner for water because it gets dry with all the machines running. It is a small team here and we just handle things as they come in. By the time we pack up for the day, the street lights are usually on and the traffic is finally starting to slow down a little bit. We just lock up and head home to start again tomorrow.
