Tekbrains Pvt. Ltd. is located on the first floor of Malti Niwas. If you know Road No. 1 in Kankarbagh, specifically the Bye Pass Road area, you probably know how crowded it gets around here. Our office isn't anything special to look at from the outside. It’s an old building, but it works for us. Inside, there are a lot of computers and cables running along the floor. We’re a small group of people who basically live on our keyboards. The noise from the bypass road is constant, but we’ve grown used to the horns and the traffic sounds. We spend our days coding and fixing bugs. Sometimes we stay late when a project is acting up, and we usually end up ordering food from the little stalls downstairs. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, so moving furniture in was a real pain. We have a small pantry where the kettle is always running because we drink a lot of tea. It’s not a corporate headquarters with a gym or a cafeteria. It’s just a place where we sit and work on software. We keep our own hours mostly, as long as the work gets finished. It’s a bit messy with old monitors stacked in the corner, but it feels like home to us. We’ve been here for a bit and know the neighbors pretty well now. We just do our work and try to stay productive.
