Shivani Ladies Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is tucked away in the Postal Park area of Patna, which is always buzzing with people. We are quite close to Sabji Bagh, so you can always hear the vegetable sellers and the general commotion of the market nearby. It’s a small place we have here, but we’ve made it work for a long time. The walls are painted a light color to make it feel a bit bigger than it actually is. We have a few stations for hair and facials, with some curtains to give a bit of privacy. Most days, it’s just us doing what needs to be done, like brow shaping or hair oiling. The neighborhood is very crowded, and sometimes the walk to the parlour is a bit of a squeeze through the narrow lanes. We get a lot of ladies coming in after they finish their shopping at the market, looking a bit tired. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just the regular fans that we keep on all day. The water pressure can be a bit slow sometimes, but we manage. It’s a very local spot where everyone knows everyone else’s business. We just try to keep the place tidy and be ready for the next person who walks through the door. It’s a simple life in a busy part of Patna, and we like being part of this community here in Postal Park where life never really slows down much.
