Shanai Beauty Parlour

Shanai Beauty Parlour is located at House Number 2/174 on G D Mishra Path in the Patliputra area of Patna. We are right opposite the Sidhivinayaka Boys Hostel. It’s a busy street with lots of students and families walking by at all hours of the day. We have been in this house for quite some time now, and the parlour is set up in a front room facing the street. We do basic beauty work like eyebrows, waxing, and hair trims. Because we are near a boys hostel, we see a lot of young people passing by, but our customers are mostly the ladies from the Patliputra colony. The room has a couple of chairs and a big wooden dressing table. It is not very fancy, just a practical and clean setup for the work we do every day. We use normal brands of shampoos and creams that local people trust and are comfortable with. The ceiling fan makes a bit of noise, and sometimes the street sounds from the bikes and cars are quite loud, but we are used to it. We don't have a big staff, usually just one or two of us working. We manage all the appointments on a small notepad kept on the desk. Patna summers are very hot, so we try to keep the curtains drawn during the afternoon to keep the heat out. People like coming here because it feels like a home, not a cold or expensive business. We talk about local things and what's happening.
