Shadab Buildcon is located over in Gaighat, right on Bhagirathi Lane-6. Patna is a crowded place, and our spot in Sultanganj Shera is no different. It’s a busy lane and can be hard to navigate. S. A. Rasheed started this up because there’s always something being built in this part of the city. We do construction work, mostly small to medium stuff for local folks. If you walk down the lane, you’ll find our office eventually. It’s not a huge place, just a room where we keep our files and meet the workers in the morning. We deal with the daily grind of building things in Patna. Traffic can be a real nightmare when we are trying to get supplies like sand or bricks delivered. Sometimes the trucks get stuck for hours in the narrow streets. But we’ve lived here a long time, so we know how to handle the delays. We aren't those corporate types who wear suits every day. Most of us have dust on our shoes and dirt under our fingernails. We talk to the laborers, check the progress at the site, and make sure things are moving. It’s a lot of manual labor and coordinating people. The heat in Bihar can be tough during the summer months, but the work doesn't stop. We take on projects around Patna and try to stay busy year-round. It’s a straightforward business. We build, we fix, and we keep going. There isn't much more to it than that.
