Sandhya Constech Private Limited is based in the Indira Nagar area of Kankarbagh, Patna. If you are familiar with this part of the city, you know it is always humming with activity. We are right in the middle of it all. Our office is a practical space where we manage our construction and technical work. It’s not a place where we host big parties or anything; it’s where we sit down and look at the numbers and the schedules. The floors are often a bit dusty because of all the construction material samples we keep around. We have a small staff of local people who help with the clerical side of things and the site management. During the summer, the office can get pretty hot, but we just keep the fans going and keep working. We don't have a polished receptionist or a lobby with magazines. Instead, you'll likely find someone sitting at a desk covered in site reports or blueprints. We spend a lot of time coordinating with truck drivers and material suppliers over the phone. Every day brings a new set of small problems to solve, whether it’s a late delivery or a change in the weather. We just deal with things as they come and try to stay on top of our various projects across the city. It’s hard work, and the environment is very basic, but it serves us well for what we need to do.
