You can find Samrat Swapnil Construction Private Limited at Plot No-01 in the Chandra Vihar Colony. This is over in the Ashiana Khajpura area, which has seen a lot of change over the last few years. We’ve been right here in the middle of it, doing our construction work. The office is pretty basic, just a place to keep the site records and meet with the sub-contractors. We spend most of our time out in the sun or under the tin roofs of the project sites. Running a construction company like this means you are always worrying about the price of steel or whether the laborers are going to show up after a holiday. We don’t try to make it sound more complicated than it is. We take the plans, we get the materials, and we build the thing. Sometimes we have to argue with a supplier who brings the wrong grade of sand, and other times we are just sitting in the shade waiting for the concrete mixer to arrive. It is a lot of waiting followed by a lot of rushing. We know the Khajpura area inside and out. It’s home for us. We just want to keep working and making sure the projects we finish are solid. There is no fancy talk here, just a lot of hard work and some tired feet at the end of the day.
