Sajal Banerjee Enterprises is located right on B.C. Road in the middle of the Main Market in Mithapur. Being near Jamal Road means there is always something going on outside our door. It is a very busy area, especially during the market hours when everyone is out shopping or running errands. Our shop is just one of many in this crowded stretch, but we like the energy of the place. We have been here for a good while, and we’ve seen the market change over the years. Some days the noise from the street is quite a lot, but you get used to it after a while. We handle our business in a very straightforward way. There aren't any complicated systems here; we just keep track of what we have and talk to people who come in. It can get a bit cramped inside when we get a big delivery, but we manage to sort it out. We don't have a marketing department telling us what to say. We just speak to people like regular neighbors. Mithapur is a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but we try to take things as they come. It’s hard work sometimes, staying on your feet all day and dealing with the heat, but it is what we do. We just want to keep the business going and stay as a part of this busy market scene without adding too much stress to our lives.
