We operate out of R.K. Nagar in Kankarbagh, which is a pretty crowded part of Patna. Sahcharrini Developers started small. My name is on the paperwork, but it’s a group effort here. We use Shushila Devi’s place as our base. It’s just a regular house turned into a workspace. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day while we work on our plans. Developing land and building houses in Patna is a slow process sometimes. The paperwork takes forever, and the rain in the monsoon season stops everything. But we keep going. We aren't some giant firm with hundreds of employees. We are just local people trying to make a living by building decent places for others to live. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or visiting sites to make sure the cement is mixed right. It’s messy work. My clothes are usually covered in dust by the evening. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. It’s an honest way to work. We take it one day at a time, hoping the next project goes smoother than the last one. Patna is our home, so we try to do right by the people here. We just build what we can and stay busy.
