Sacred Heart Public School

If you go behind Mishra Market in Kankarbagh, you’ll find us. Sacred Heart Public School is located right there in Hanuman Nagar, Vivek Vihar. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but the locals know the way. We’ve been operating in this part of Patna for quite a while. The school sits right in the middle of the neighborhood, so we see the daily life of the city passing by our doors. It’s not a quiet, isolated campus. You can hear the sounds of the market and the traffic, but inside the classrooms, we try to keep things focused. The teachers are mostly folks from around Patna who take the bus or ride their scooters in every morning. We don’t have a big corporate budget for decorations. Instead, you’ll see charts made by hand and projects the kids did last week. It’s a practical place. We spend a lot of our time making sure there’s enough space for everyone and that the schedule stays on track. Being near the market means things are always moving. We don't put on a show for visitors. We’re just busy with the actual work of teaching. From the morning assembly to the final bell, it’s a full day of reading, writing, and the occasional game in the courtyard. It’s a simple setup, and that seems to work just fine for the families who live around here in Kankarbagh.
