Rupesh Hair Salon

We are tucked away in the Postal Park area of Patna. It is a residential spot mostly, so we get a lot of regulars who live in the houses nearby. The shop is just a simple room with a couple of chairs and a bench for waiting. I handle most of the work myself. I have got my mirrors and my tools set up just the way I like them after all these years. Patna gets very hot during the summer months, so we keep the door and windows open to catch a breeze. The sounds of the neighborhood come right inside while I work. You can hear kids playing in the street and people talking as they walk by. I do not have any fancy training from a big school, just years of practice on the job. People come in for a quick trim or a shave before they head off to their offices. We do not have any big advertisements or posters. Most people just know we are here by word of mouth. The floor is made of old tiles and I try to keep it clean. I spend a lot of time sharpening my razors in the mornings. It is quiet when we first open and then it gets busy in the evenings. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful. Rupesh Hair Salon is a small place for the local folks.
