Raghu Mens Parlour

Raghu Mens Parlour is at Shop No 8 in Ruby Market, which is inside Sadar Gali in Patna City. This area is very old and the lanes are quite narrow, so you have to be careful when walking or riding a bike through here. The shop itself is very small, just enough for two chairs and a little space for people to stand. Raghu has been here for years, and the 800008 area is where he grew up. We mostly do haircuts for the local boys and men who live in the Gali. It is a very simple setup with some old posters on the wall and a small radio that usually plays the local news or some music. The lighting isn't great, but we are used to it and know how to work with the shadows. There is no waiting room or anything like that. If the chairs are full, people just wait outside in the alley and chat with the neighbors. We use regular soap for shaves and simple combs. It is a very traditional kind of gents parlour. We don't have a website or a phone for bookings, people just know we are here from morning till night. It is a hard-working little shop in a busy part of Patna City, and we just keep things going as they have always been for the neighborhood.
