Our company, Pyayana Software Technology Solutions Private Limited, is located at Amlori Bhawan in the New Basti area of Mahadeva, Siwan. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you are in that part of town. We are a small group of people working on software stuff. We don't have a big fancy sign outside or a lobby with a fountain. It’s just an office in a residential-style building where we keep our servers and workstations. Working in Siwan is good because it’s home. We do a lot of coding and software maintenance. Sometimes we work late into the night when we have a deadline, and you can hear the street dogs barking outside. It’s very real. We don't use marketing slogans to get clients. Usually, someone just knows someone who worked with us before. We try to be practical. If a piece of software is too complicated, we try to make it simpler. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India; we just want to do good work that pays the bills and keeps our clients happy. The office can get a bit cluttered with papers and spare parts, but we manage. We’ve got a small kitchen where we make tea and talk about anything other than work for a few minutes. It’s a decent life. We just take it one day at a time, fixing bugs and writing new code for whatever project comes our way.
