Prema Public School

We are over at Number 16 in Rajeev Nagar, situated right on the main road. Patna is a very crowded and busy city, and our corner of Rajiv Nagar is certainly no different. The school is a practical building that serves many of the local families living nearby. We do not have a massive campus with fancy gardens or fountains, but we have enough space for the classrooms and a small area where the kids can stand around and talk during their breaks. It gets quite loud in the mornings when the first session starts up. The teachers are mostly local people who know the neighborhood very well. We focus on the daily syllabus and making sure the students actually understand their lessons before moving on. The road outside is always busy with rickshaws and cars, so we have to be very careful with the kids during arrival and dismissal times. Inside the building, it is just the usual school life—grading papers, fixing a few broken chairs, and making sure there is enough chalk for the day. We do not go in for any big marketing or anything like that. People find us because they live in the area and need a school for their children. The office is usually a bit cluttered with old files and registers. We handle any problems as they come up. If a fan stops working, we call someone to get it fixed.
