Sahayogi Press Lane, off Exhibition Road. That’s where you’ll find us in Patna. We are near Hotel City Center. It’s a busy part of the city, right in the middle of things with the 800001 pin code. Exhibition Road is always full of cars and people. Our lane, Sahayogi Press Lane, is a bit of a squeeze but it leads right to us. We’ve been here for years. The salon is a small spot. It’s got that old-school feel to it. We don't have the newest gadgets or a big glass front. Just the benches for waiting and the old barber chairs. People come in for a quick trim or a shave before they head to their offices nearby. Being near Hotel City Center means we sometimes get travelers too. Patna is a fast city, but inside the salon, things slow down a bit. We hear the sounds of the traffic outside all day. It’s just background noise to us now. We focus on the person in the chair. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't gotten around to it yet. We use regular soap and water and the tools we’ve had for a long time. It’s a practical place. No one comes here for a luxury experience. They come here because they know we do a decent job for a fair price. That’s why we’re still here in this lane. It is just a simple place for a haircut.
