New Kamini Beauty Parlour

Boring Road in Patna is one of those places that never really sleeps. Our shop is New Kamini Beauty Parlour, located at A/21 in the Harihar Chamber Complex. It is right across from Nageshwer Colony, so we get a lot of people from there. The complex is always busy with people going to different offices. Finding the shop can be a bit tricky the first time because there are so many signs, but once you find us, it is a calm little spot. I have a couple of big mirrors and the lighting is quite bright so I can see what I am doing. The floor is white and shows every bit of hair, so I spend half my time with a broom in my hand. It is a habit now. Patna gets very dusty, so keeping the glass clean is a constant job. We have these heavy curtains to keep the privacy when someone is getting a facial or a massage. I like the smell of the rose water and the powders we use. Most of the customers are regulars who have been coming for years. They know my name and I know theirs. We talk about the kids or the prices of vegetables in the market. It is a very normal place. We do not have a website or anything like that. People just walk in or call my mobile. It works out fine for us. It is just a shop in a busy Patna basement.
