Indira Nagar is where we set up, specifically in the Laliyahi area. It’s near the Katihar Bara Bazar, so the traffic is always a bit of a nightmare. You’ve got rickshaws, bikes, and people everywhere. Our place is simple. We deal with various goods and try to keep everything sorted in our storage space. It’s not always easy because the dust from the market settles on everything. We spend a lot of our time just dusting things off and re-stacking boxes. It’s a family-style environment here in Katihar. We don't have fancy computer systems for everything; a lot of it is still written down in ledgers or remembered. When a customer comes in, we usually know exactly what they want before they even ask. It gets really hot in this part of Bihar, so the middle of the day is usually pretty slow until things cool down in the evening. That’s when the market really wakes up. We’re just a small part of the mess and the life around Bara Bazar. We try to be helpful and get people what they need without making a big deal out of it. There’s no corporate ladder here, just us working every day to make sure the business keeps going and the bills get paid. It's a lot of hard work but we are used to it by now. The noise outside can be a bit much sometimes, but we just shut the door and focus on our tasks.
