Miller High School

Miller High School has been a part of Patna for a long time. Being located right on Beer Chand Patel Path means we are in a very central spot, so there is always a lot of noise from the traffic outside. You can hear the horns and the buses all day long. The building itself shows its age in some spots, with old bricks and high ceilings that stay cool even when the Bihar sun is hitting hard. We have a lot of students coming from all over the city. The mornings start early with the sound of the bell ringing across the grounds. Our teachers carry their stacks of notebooks from one room to another, and you’ll often see them sitting in the staff room during their lunch breaks, just chatting about their day. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement. We try to keep the courtyard tidy, but with so many feet walking through, it's a constant job. The classrooms have that old school smell of chalk and paper. It is not a quiet place, especially when the classes change over. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the shortcuts through the hallways. Being in the 800001 area makes it easy for people to find us, though parking is always a bit of a headache on this road. It's just a solid, working school that has seen many generations pass through its doors.
