Our company, MDPN Infrastructure Private Limited, is based right in the Birla Colony area of Phulwari Sharif here in Patna. It is a pretty recognizable spot. We are situated near the Police Chowki. Working in infrastructure means we are usually busy with various projects around Bihar. This office is where all the planning and coordination happens. The neighborhood is fairly active. Having the police post nearby makes it easy for visitors to get their bearings when they come to see us. We are not a giant corporation with glass towers. We just have a practical space where we handle our daily tasks. Most of the guys here have been in the construction and infrastructure line for years. We deal with a lot of paperwork, maps, and schedules to keep things moving on the different sites we manage. Sometimes the office feels a bit small when we have all the supervisors in for a meeting, but we make it work. It is a local business. We prefer keeping things simple and direct. We don’t spend much time on fancy decorations or slogans. Instead, we focus on the actual work that needs doing out in the field. Being in Patna gives us a good central point to reach other districts too. If you are ever walking near Birla Colony, you have probably passed by our place without thinking much of it. That is fine by us.
