Mantec Consultants Pvt Ltd operates out of 34 LIC Colony in Patna. It’s a residential area, so it’s quieter than the main roads in Bihar. The office is basically a house that we’ve turned into our workspace. It feels a bit more comfortable that way, not like those cold offices in the city centers. We have a small porch area where we sometimes stand to get some air. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves full of documents and a few sturdy desks. Patna gets really hot, so the coolers are always running in the middle of the year. We don't have a fancy lobby or a bunch of awards on the wall. We just have our work. The neighbors know us by now, and we try not to make too much noise. It’s a bit of a walk from the main gate, but it’s a nice enough stroll. We usually start our day pretty early before the sun gets too high. There’s a kitchen in the back where we make tea. It’s nothing special to look at, just a functional place where we spend our eight or nine hours. We don’t go in for big marketing talk. We just handle the consulting stuff that comes our way and keep things running as best as we can. It's a simple life here in the colony and we like the pace.
