Amac - Arun Mishra

You can find me at Amac, specifically in Flat No.-112 inside Jagat Trade Centre. We are right on Frazer Road in Patna, which is one of the busiest spots in the city. It’s directly opposite Dumrao Palace, so it’s hard to miss the building once you are in the area. The trade centre is full of different offices and shops, so there is always a lot of movement. My space, run by me, Arun Mishra, is just a straightforward place for learning. It’s not a large corporate office. It’s a flat that we’ve turned into a teaching space. We have desks and whiteboards and that’s about it. People come here for help with their studies. Since it’s Frazer Road, the parking can be a bit of a headache, but most of our students use public transport or get dropped off. I’ve been doing this for years now. I like being in the middle of the city where everything is happening. The office feels lived-in. There are papers everywhere and books stacked up on the shelves. It’s a working environment. We don’t have fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. Students come in, do their work, and head home. It’s a very local operation. We keep things simple and focus on the teaching part. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the traffic outside, but we are used to the hum of the city by now.
