Niranjan Kumar

I started this small business here in Vill. Chhatna, right near the Parsa Bazar post office in Punpun. It’s a quiet part of Patna, but it keeps me busy enough throughout the day. People around here know me by name, and I like it that way. I didn't want to set up in the middle of a crowded city where nobody knows their neighbor. In Chhatna, you see the same faces every morning at the tea stall or near the market. My work involves helping out with local needs, whatever comes up in the village. It isn’t anything fancy or something you’d see in a big magazine. It’s just me, Niranjan Kumar, trying to make a living and being useful to the people in Punpun. The roads get a bit rough during the monsoon, and sometimes it takes a bit longer to get things done, but that is just how life is here. I don't have a big office with air conditioning or a team of secretaries. It is mostly just me handling the day-to-day stuff and talking to customers who stop by. Most of the time, we just talk about the crops or the weather while I get their work sorted. I feel that staying local and keeping things simple is the way to do business. You won't find any grand promises here, just a person who knows his trade and does it every day without much noise.
