Mahakaali Construction Private Limited is situated in the village of Nauranga, which is in the Jalalpur area of Mokama, Patna. Our address is at Ravindra Singh’s place in Ward Number 5. This is a very local operation. We are right in the heart of the village, and most of our work happens within this district. Building things in Mokama means dealing with the local climate and the way things have been done for generations, but we try to bring a bit of modern structure to it. We aren't interested in sounding like a big corporation from Delhi. We are just guys who know how to mix concrete and lay bricks. The days are long, often starting before the sun is too hot. We spend a lot of time at the sites in Nauranga, talking to the workers and checking the levels. It is a practical life. We have to deal with the logistics of getting trucks down narrow village roads, which is always a bit of a challenge. But we like the work. It’s rewarding to see a piece of land turn into a home for a family. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and hope the rain stays away long enough to finish the roof. It is a simple existence, but it keeps us busy and the community growing.
