Leeds International School

Our school sits right along N H 83 in the Kurthaul area of Patna. Being on the highway means we’re easy to spot, though it can get a bit noisy with the trucks going by. Leeds International School isn't a place for fancy talk or complicated systems. We are just a group of people who care about how the kids in this part of Patna are doing. The building has been there for a while, and we do our best to keep it in good shape. Every morning, the staff arrives and we check the registers and make sure the classrooms are ready for the day. There’s no big team of managers here. It’s usually just the principal and a few of us in the office handling everything from admissions to fixing the light bulbs. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed. The kids come from the surrounding villages and neighborhoods, and many of them have been with us since they were very small. We see them grow up right before our eyes. It’s a lot of work keeping a school running on a busy road like this, especially during the monsoon when the highway gets messy. But we just stick to our routine. We aren't trying to impress anyone with big words. We just want the kids to have a steady place where they can sit down and learn their lessons every day.
