Our office is tucked away at Agarwal Niketan on B C Road, right in the middle of East Boring Road. If you know Patna, you know how crowded and loud it gets around here with all the traffic and people moving about. Laacasa Developers is basically just a few of us trying to make sense of the building business. Kislay Kishan handles a lot of the day-to-day stuff while the rest of us are usually out checking on projects or talking to suppliers about why the sand hasn't arrived yet. It is a small operation, really. We don't have a big reception desk or anything corporate like that. Usually, there is a lot of paper on the desks and someone is always on the phone. We take on jobs around the city and try to get them done without too many headaches. Construction is messy and people are always asking questions, so we spend a lot of time just explaining how things work. It’s a bit of a scramble sometimes, especially during the monsoon when everything slows down. We like being centrally located because it makes it easier to get to different parts of town, even if the parking on Boring Road is a total nightmare. We are just local people who know how to put one brick on top of another. We don't claim to be anything more than that, just workers trying to do a decent job for the neighborhood. There is always more to learn in this business.
