I run my work from Buddha Colony, which is tucked away near Boring Road here in Patna. It is a pretty well-known neighborhood, and I have been based here for quite a while now. My setup is simple and mostly consists of a desk, some chairs, and my files. I don't see the need for a big, flashy office because most of what I do is straightforward. People usually find me through someone they know or just by walking past the building. The 800001 area is always humming with activity, which I like. It keeps things interesting. My day usually starts early, and I spend a lot of time dealing with various tasks that come my way. It’s not a corporate environment at all. There’s often tea being served and people stopping by for a quick chat about local news. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but for now, they are fine. I prefer spending my time on the actual work rather than worrying about how the office looks to outsiders. Boring Road can get very congested, so I usually stay put once I get in for the morning. It’s just me handling things, so if I’m busy, people might have to wait a little. That’s how small businesses in Patna usually operate. I’ve lived in this city all my life, and Buddha Colony feels like home for my work. It is quiet enough to think.
