Our place is on Tarkeshwar Path, right off Boring Road in Patna. It’s the old Pandoi Kothi building. If you know Boring Road, you know it’s one of the busiest spots in the city. There is always noise and traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We handle building projects, mostly residential ones around this part of town. Our office has a lot of history since it’s in an older building, and we like the feel of it. It’s not one of those glass-and-steel corporate offices. We have desks piled with blueprints and samples of tiles. Most of the day, we are out checking on the laborers at different sites across Patna. Managing construction in a crowded city like this takes a lot of patience. You have to coordinate the trucks so they don't get stuck in traffic jams. It’s a lot of phone calls and standing around in the sun. We aren't a huge firm, just a dedicated group of people trying to build houses that people can actually live in. We don't use any fancy sales talk. If someone comes in, we just show them what we are currently working on. It’s a practical business. We deal with the real problems of construction, like rising material costs and finding good masons. It keeps us busy, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We focus on the daily tasks and making sure the sites stay safe.
