JKI INFRASTRUCTURE PRIVATE LIMITED is based out of Damodar Pandey’s place on Bishunpur Road. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. Infrastructure sounds like a big, complicated word, but for us, it mostly means being out on the road and making sure things are being built the way they should be. The office is just a spot to keep our papers and have a cup of tea while we talk about the next project. Bishunpur Road is a familiar place for us, and we’ve gotten to know the people around here pretty well over the time we’ve been operating. We don’t go in for any of that corporate polish or big presentations. Most of the time, we’re just wearing our regular clothes and getting our hands dirty on-site. There are always challenges, like when the weather turns bad or when some equipment breaks down, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is just a group of us trying to do a decent job on the projects we take on. We don’t promise the moon, we just look at the plans and do the work. It’s a lot of long hours and sometimes things get a bit chaotic, but that’s just the nature of this kind of business. We’re just regular people working on Bishunpur Road, trying to keep things moving along. The dust gets everywhere, and the noise never stops, but we wouldn't have it any other way at this point.
