We run JIVANSH PROPERTY DEALERS AND CONSTRUCTION PRIVATE LIMITED out of Ramnagar in Bihta. Raju Kumar, the son of late Sagina Rai, is the one who keeps things moving around here. Bihta is changing so fast these days with all the new projects coming up. We do two things mainly: we help people find land and then we help them build on it. It’s a lot of work because the paperwork for land can be a real headache. We spend a lot of time at the local offices making sure everything is legal and correct. Our construction side is just as busy. We have crews all over the place. Construction in Ramnagar is always a bit of a gamble with the weather and getting materials through the narrow lanes. We aren't a big, polished company. Our office is where we sit down with a cup of tea and talk to people about their plans. We don't have any fancy brochures. People come to us because they knew Raju’s father or they’ve seen the houses we’ve put up nearby. We just speak plainly. If a piece of land has issues, we say so. If a building is going to take longer than expected, we explain why. We aren't trying to be perfect, just honest. Working in your own community means you have to be able to look people in the eye. That’s how we’ve always done it here in Bihta.
