Our business is over in Khagaul, right in Ward 1 of Lakhi Bigha. We’re located near the cold store, which is a good landmark for people trying to find us. It’s a busy little area, and we’ve been working out of here for some time now at Suresh Rai’s place. Construction is one of those jobs where you never really know what the day is going to bring. You might start off thinking you’ll be in the office all day, but then something happens at a site and you’re out there for six hours. We don’t have a fancy corporate setup. It’s just a basic office where we handle the business side of things. We do a lot of coordination between different workers and making sure we have enough materials on hand. Sometimes the logistics can be a bit of a headache, especially with the narrow streets around here, but we make it work. We aren't big on making promises we can't keep; we just tell people what we can do and then we go out and do it. It’s a straightforward way of working. Most of our team is from around here, so we have a good feel for the local area and what people need. It gets dusty and loud sometimes, but that’s just part of the construction life. We’re happy to be based in Khagaul and to keep busy with the various projects we have going on throughout the year.
