Glimess Parlour

Glimess Parlour is right on Dak Bunglow Road in Patna. We are in the Koushalaya Complex, which is directly opposite the Hariniwas Complex. This area is very central, so there is always a lot of traffic and people walking by. I decided to open the parlour here because it’s easy for everyone to reach from different parts of the city. We do hair, nails, and facials. It’s a bit of a small space but we’ve managed to fit everything in nicely. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the makeup during the evening hours. Usually, people stop by after their work is done or while they are out shopping in the city center. It’s not a silent place since the road outside is so busy with cars and horns, but we try to make it comfortable inside. I have a couple of girls working with me who handle the hair washes and the threading. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything, we just try to get the hair cut straight and the makeup looking right for whatever event someone is attending. People like coming here because they can get their things done and then go to the mall nearby. We stay open throughout the day and into the late evening. Sometimes I get tired of the noise from Dak Bunglow Road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town.
