We work out of Chisty Manzil in the Chisty Nagar Colony. It’s located in Beapur, which is part of the Maner block in Patna. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but that’s where we do our thing. Sabiha Perveen’s place is where everything happens. We are construction and developers, so our lives revolve around cement, sand, and labor schedules. Maner is a place with a lot of tradition, and we try to fit into that. Our office isn't much to look at. It’s mostly just a room with some old cupboards and a big table for maps and plans. We spend a lot of our time out in the sun at various sites. Construction is hard work. You have to watch everything to make sure it’s done right. We deal with all the usual headaches, like the truck with the bricks being late or the weather turning bad suddenly. We aren't some big firm with shiny cars. We are just local guys who know how to build stuff. Most of our conversations are about how much iron we need or when the roof can be poured. It’s simple, honest work. We drink a lot of water and stay out of the midday heat when we can. Every project we take on is just another day at the office for us. We’ve built up a decent reputation just by being there and doing the work.
