DAWN SMR BUILDCON PRIVATE LIMITED is run from Sachchidanand Singh’s place. We are located in Shekhpura, right near the Karpuri Bhawan in Rukanpura. It is a busy part of the area and there is always a lot of movement outside. We do building and construction work which keeps us pretty busy throughout the year. The office is often a bit messy with blueprints and old invoices scattered around on the desk. Sachchidanand handles a lot of the phone calls while the rest of us are usually out seeing how the work is progressing at the sites. Rukanpura is a good place to be based because we can get to different parts of the city fairly easily, even with the traffic near Karpuri Bhawan. We have some basic machinery and a crew that knows what they are doing. We don't spend money on fancy advertisements or shiny brochures. Most of our work comes from people who have seen our previous projects and liked how they turned out. It is a lot of sweating in the heat and making sure the measurements are right. Sometimes we have issues with getting the right materials on time but we always find a way to manage. It is just a regular construction business where we show up every day and do the work that needs doing.
