Our office is actually inside an apartment building called Shanti Bihar. We are in Flat 404B, which is on the fourth floor. The building is on Exhibition Road, right in the Kadamkuan area of Patna. It’s a bit of an old-school neighborhood, and Shanti Bihar has been here for a while. Smt. Kumud Kumari and Sunil Kumar are the ones who usually handle things here. Since we are in an apartment, it feels more like a home than a sterile office. We do engineering and construction work, but we keep our administrative side here. Sometimes it’s a bit quiet in the hallways, which is good for when we need to focus on technical drawings. Kadamkuan is a very central place to be, so we can get to any part of Patna pretty quickly. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. Most people who come to see us already know the flat number. We have a lot of files and some old engineering books lying around the desks. It’s a family-run kind of feel. We just do our work every day, talking to site supervisors and making sure the supplies are ordered. It’s not a flashy business, just a small engineering firm operating out of a quiet flat in Patna. We spend our evenings checking over the reports before heading home to the other side of town.
