We’re set up in Chitkhora House, which is tucked away in Dr Ashraf Lane. It’s right off S.P Verma Road in Patna. If you know Patna, you know how busy S.P Verma Road is. It’s always crowded with cars and people rushing around. Atulyam Heights is our little operation where we focus on residential projects. It’s a family-owned kind of feel because we’re operating out of the house of S.Z Ashraf. We don't have a big glass building or a reception desk. It’s more about sitting around a table and figuring out how to get the next floor built. We talk to architects and engineers all day. Sometimes the paperwork at the municipal office takes forever, which can be frustrating. That’s just part of the job here. We’ve lived in this part of Patna for a long time, so we know the ground pretty well. The lane is a bit tight, but it keeps us away from the main road noise. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Bihar, just trying to do decent work on the buildings we take on. People drop by sometimes just to ask about prices or when a project will be finished. We give them a straight answer. It’s basic work, really. Not much to it besides showing up every day and making sure the bricks get laid right.
