Amit Anand

This place is located on the first floor in Nayatola. It’s right across from Swapna Apartment, which is a big landmark for anyone trying to find us in Patna. It’s just a simple setup run by Amit Anand. We don't have a big staff or a suite of offices. It’s a straightforward space where the main focus is on the teaching. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, and the hallway isn't very wide, but once you’re inside, there’s enough room for everyone to sit and work. We have a few cupboards full of old files and study materials that have been gathered over the years. It’s not the most modern office you’ll ever see. The paint is a little faded in spots and the chairs don’t all match, but that doesn’t really matter for what we do. We usually have the windows open to let in the sounds of Nayatola. It’s a busy neighborhood and we feel right at home in the middle of it. We don’t spend time on fancy slogans or branding. People just know us for the work we do here. It’s a very personal, low-key environment. We take our time with the students and don’t rush through the day. It feels more like a home office than a business most of the time, which is just how we like it. There’s always a glass of water for anyone who walks in and a chair to wait.
