Down in Darbhanga, in the Lalganj area, you’ll find us. We are specifically in the Badh Tola part of the village. It’s a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, mostly because we are all doing the same thing—farming. This company is our attempt to do things a bit more professionally, though it still feels very much like a village project. We don't have a big staff. It's just us, the people who own the land. We meet up in Keotiranway block to talk about our plans. The weather in Darbhanga can be tough, with too much rain sometimes and not enough at other times. We deal with whatever comes our way. Our story is pretty simple: we grow crops and we try to sell them. We don't use any fancy words because we don't know them. We just talk about seeds, water, and prices. The office is just a room in the village where we keep our registers and some samples. It’s not polished, and we don't have any big corporate backers. We are just trying to get by and maybe make things a little easier for the next generation of farmers in Lalganj. If you visit, you’ll see us in our everyday clothes, probably covered in a bit of dirt, just getting the work done. It’s a real life, not a story for a magazine. We are just trying to make it work.
