Ramadhar Rai has been kind enough to let us use this space for our meetings and to keep our records straight. We spend our days coordinating with different makers and seeing what can be done to get their work out there. It is not always easy, especially when the traffic on Ashiyana Road gets bad or when we are short on materials. But the people here are dedicated to what they do. We are just a small team trying to keep the local spirit alive. No one here wears a suit. We are usually just sitting around a wooden table talking about the next batch of goods. It is a very grounded way to run a company, but it works for us and the people we represent in this neighborhood. We just want to keep making things and help our fellow workers do the same.
