Maniyari Jhakhra Farmers Producer Company Limited

We are situated in Jhakhra village, right near the post office. It’s in the Jagdishpur police station area and the Nautan block. This is part of West Champaran. Our company is just a gathering of farmers from this local area. We don't have a big staff or a fancy building. It’s just us and the land. We deal with the everyday realities of farming in Bihar. Sometimes the weather is on our side, and sometimes it really isn't. We spend a lot of time discussing seeds and how much fertilizer we need for the next season. The office is a practical space where we keep our tools and some basic records. We don't use any complicated business words. We just talk about the grain and the market. West Champaran has some good soil, and we try to make the most of it. Everyone in Jhakhra knows where to find us. If there’s a problem with a crop or someone needs advice, they just walk over. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not. We are just people who work in the dirt and want to see our community do a little better. It’s a slow process, but we keep at it day by day. We don't have a big mission, just the daily work of planting and harvesting. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy. Most of our work is done by hand and with simple tools.
