We are based in Janki Bhawan, over in the Kankarbagh area. If you are looking for us, we are situated near the Sukh Sagar Restaurant, which is a popular spot around here. At Shyam Santani Exporters, we spend a lot of time dealing with boxes and paperwork. The office isn't very large, and it is usually filled with files and samples of things we are working with. Because we are near the restaurant, the smell of food is always drifting into our workspace, which makes us hungry before lunchtime even arrives. Kankarbagh is a busy part of the city, so there is always the sound of traffic and people talking outside. We don't have a team of fancy marketing people. It is just a few of us working at our desks, making sure the shipments are ready to go. The furniture is a bit old, and the floor is made of simple tiles that have seen better days. We use a couple of old computers that sometimes take a while to start up. Most of our day is spent on the phone or typing out lists. It is a straightforward business without any bells or whistles. We keep a water cooler in the corner and a stack of newspapers on the side table. It is just a normal, hardworking office where we try to get things done without making a big fuss about it. The building itself is quite old but it stays cool inside during the summer.
