We set up shop here at Madusadan Singh’s place, at number 54 in Bhawani Bigha. It’s a pretty quiet spot on most days. Mostly we just get on with the daily construction work and try to keep things moving. People in the area know where to find us if they need something. It’s definitely not a big fancy office with glass doors or shiny signs. Just a regular building where we handle all our paperwork and meet with the guys who work on the sites. Usually, there's a bit of dust on our boots when we walk in. We spend a lot of our time looking over building plans or talking on the phone with various suppliers about materials. Sometimes the tea runs out or the old printer jams right when we need it, but we manage to get things done. It’s been home for Advikash Engicon for a while now. The neighborhood is mostly families and other small outfits like ours. You might see us standing outside for a bit of fresh air during the middle of the afternoon. We aren't doing anything flashy or trying to look bigger than we are. Most days are just about checking the materials and making sure the labor is sorted for the next morning. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we stay late when a project is at a tricky stage. Bhawani Bigha has been good to us. We know the neighbors and they know us.
