Aasma Constructions is located in the Danapur area of Patna. Specifically, we are in Sahpur at the home of Sheo Kumar Singh. It’s not a commercial building with a big sign. It’s more of a home-based office where we manage our construction business. Danapur is a part of Patna that’s growing really fast, so there is always a lot of work to be done. We spend most of our mornings out on different sites, checking on the progress of the walls or the roofs. Then we come back here in the afternoon to handle the paperwork. It’s a very simple way of doing things. We don't have a big team of executives. It’s just a few of us who know the building trade well. We talk to the laborers, order the cement and steel, and make sure the projects keep moving along. Sometimes the traffic on the way to Sahpur can be a nightmare, but that’s just life in Patna. We’ve been around for a while and we have a good relationship with the local suppliers. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished image. We just want to build structures that stay up and do what they’re supposed to do. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until night. We like being based in this part of town because it’s close to where the action is.
