We are based over at C/O Kunti Narayan Kunj, specifically in Lane No.8 in Patna. Most people around here just call it the Income Tax subsidiary office because that is what it says on the door. It is a bit of a trek to get into the lane sometimes because of the traffic on the main road, but once you find Kunti Narayan Kunj, it’s quiet enough. The office itself is not very big. We have a few desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that are mostly full of old records and paperwork. It is not exactly exciting work, but it is steady. The Bihar heat can be a lot in the summer, so the ceiling fans are always going full speed. Sometimes the tea man from the corner brings us snacks around four o’clock, which is the highlight of the afternoon. We have been in this part of Patna for a while now and the neighbors know us. We don't really do fancy meetings or anything like that. People just drop by if they have a question about their filings. It is a very practical place to work, honestly. We just keep our heads down and get through the stack of files on the desk before it's time to go home.
