Taste House

We set up Taste House on Bhadson Road in Patiala a while back. We are right across from Doctor Colony, so we get a lot of people from that neighborhood coming in. If you see the Dhindsa Petrol Pump, you are pretty much there. It is a decent sized place but we kept the inside very simple. No loud music or bright flashing lights. We just wanted a place where people could eat their dinner without a big fuss. The kitchen is visible from some of the tables so you can see the staff working away. We cook a lot of the usual Punjabi dishes because that is what everyone around here likes. The portions are fair. We do not go in for fancy plating or tiny gourmet servings. It is just food on a plate. The chairs are good enough for a quick meal with the family. Sometimes the traffic on Bhadson Road gets to be a bit much, but it is usually quieter inside the restaurant. We have some regulars who have been coming since the first week we opened. It is nice to see the same faces every day. We do not spend money on big ads or social media. Mostly we just make sure the stove is hot and the floor is swept at night. It is a family run type of deal, so you might see the kids around. It is just a local spot for people to get food.
